Welcome Back!! The start of another Ringette season is right upon us and we are excited to get back on the ice. Prior to starting we would like to remind you on some ongoing COVID rules, as well as new ones.
Firstly, you will find attached the COVID Ice Use Protocols (link below) implemented by the City of Timmins. Please take a few minutes to refresh yourself.
Secondly, as most of you are aware, the Provincial Government has made an announcement on Wednesday about what is being referred to as the “vaccination passport”. It was announced that “proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required for sport venues such as arenas”. What does this mean? Anyone over the age of 12 years old (players, bench staff, referee, spectators) will be required to provide proof of double vaccination to enter the arena at this time.
We are aware that these new rules from the Government may affect some of you, however please be mindful that these rules are NOT from Timmins Ringette. So we ask you to respect our volunteers and/or helpers.
Please ensure that you have downloaded and installed the RAMP TeamApp to your smartphone to get all of the latest schedule updates.
