Our Tornadoes stormed the ice at the Whitby tournament, coming home with a hard-fought silver medal! Here’s how the action unfolded:
🌪 Round Robin:
• Game 1: Tough start with a 6-1 loss to Forest Xtreme.
• Game 2: Bounced back with a commanding 7-2 win over Ajax Pickering Power.
• Game 3: Another dominant 7-2 victory, this time against the Oshawa Storm.
🌪 Finals:
The Tornadoes faced off against the formidable Forest Xtreme once more. While the final score was 7-1, our team played with heart, determination, and sportsmanship until the very end.
We couldn’t be prouder of the effort, teamwork, and resilience this group showed on and off the ice. A huge thank you to our players, coaches, and families for making this weekend one to remember.

Congratulations to the Timmins Tornadoes U14A on Winning Silver in Whitby! 🥈
Our U14A Tornadoes brought their A-game this past weekend, battling through a thrilling Whitby tournament to earn a well-deserved silver medal! Here’s the breakdown of their incredible journey:
🌪 Round Robin:
• Game 1: A close 2-1 loss to the Sault Ice Hawks.
• Game 2: A strong 4-2 win against Sunderland.
• Game 3: A 5-2 victory over West Ottawa.
• Game 4: A dominant 7-1 win against Forest.
🌪 Semi-Finals:
The Tornadoes were on fire, defeating West Ottawa once again with a decisive 5-1 win to punch their ticket to the finals.
🌪 Finals:
A rematch against the Sault Ice Hawks saw our team give it everything they had in an intense, nail-biting game. Despite their best efforts, the Tornadoes came up just short in a 2-1 battle for gold.
We are so proud of the grit, teamwork, and determination shown by this team all weekend long. A huge thank you to the players, coaches, and supporters who made this tournament such a success.

• Game 2: A hard-fought 4-1 loss against a strong Dorchester squad.
• Game 3: A thrilling 3-3 tie against Sunderland in a back-and-forth battle.
• Game 4: A commanding 7-1 victory over Etobicoke to close out the round robin.
🌪 Semi-Finals:
The Tornadoes faced Dorchester again in a tough matchup, battling hard but ultimately falling 5-2.
