Game Scores and Highlights from December 8 - 20th, 2019

Novice:

On December 10, 2019, Cedar Dental and Porcupine Kinsmen combined for an offensive explosion in tying, 9-9. It was a game they went back and forth and thrilled the fans that came out to watch. Jordyn Sparks “sparked” her Cedar Dental team with five goals. Charley Champagne had a great game of her own with a hat trick. Brooklyn Chamberland contributed 1 goal. Scotia Arthur responded for the Kinsmen with 3 goals and 2 assists. Adele Yates had another strong game with 4 goals. Mia Thauvette and Olivia Robertson rounded out their team scoring.

On December 13, 2019, Discover Fitness and Iroquois Falls played to a hard fought 7-7 tie. Discover was paced by two goal performances from Adele Yates, Olivia Vandal, and Brianna Rathbone. Clara Altman rounded out the scoring. Yates also added three assists, while single helpers came off the sticks of Rathbone and Vandal. Iroquois Falls responded with a 4 goal performance from Kirk Arsenault, and single tallies from Annabelle Come, McKenzie Sutherland, and Emma Cyr. Kaden Cyr had three assists.

On December 20, 2019, the Iroquois Falls Ringers edged Porcupine Kinsmen 6-4. Kirk Arsenault paced Iroquois Falls to the win with a hat trick. Audrey Audet added two goals while Emma Cyr completed the scoring. Peyton Levesque and Annabelle Come had primary assists. Mia Thauvette responded with two goals for the Kinsmen. Olivia Robertson had one goal and one assist. Leighla Belair added one goal. Adele Yates had two assists while Kennedy Bernard had one.

 

Petite Division:

On December 13, 2019, Designer Pool defeated Iroquois Falls 5-1. Brooke-Lynn McGinn contributed two goals to the win, while single scores came off the sticks of Rya Lamirand, Isabelle Rivard, and Alisa Duggan. Isabella Merenda and Jillian Daguerre had supporting assists. Catherine Morin responded for Iroquois Falls.

On December 15, 2019, Custom Concrete travelled to Iroquois Falls to play the home team there, and won the match 8-3. Juliette Bourdage-Cote had an outstanding performance with 5 goals and 1 assist. Jana Courchesne had an impressive game of her own by scoring one goal and adding 4 assists. Isabelle Rivard contributed 2 goals and 2 assists in the win. Addison Lamothe and Alexyanne Plouffe added two assists a piece. Emma Courshesne, Catherine Morin, and Chloe Boucher responded for Iroquois Falls.

On December 17, 2019, Designer Pool and Custom Concrete played a high scoring back and forth match that was ultimately won by Designer Pool 9-8. Briana Rathbone led the Pool team to the triumph with a hat trick performance, while Brooke-Lynn McGinn and Mila Champagne added two goals a piece. Isabella Merenda and Jillian Daguerre rounded out the scoring. Addison Lamothe with three goals, and Emilie Mathieu, Addison McQuatt, Isabelle Rivard and Juliette Bourdages-Cote with one each, responded for Custom Concrete. Both goalies (Victoria Souliere and Christelle Bernier), had strong efforts despite the high score.

On December 20, 2019, Timmins Garage edged Iroquois Falls 5-1. Cloe Belanger-Gallant and Amaia Aide-Rios each had two goals for Timmins Garage, while Valerie Hamilton chipped in with a single tally. Hamilton and Alisa Duggan added primary assists. Leighton Giguere responded for Iroquois Falls.

 

Tween Division:

On December 18, 2019, O’Reilly’s Sports and Rehab Plus played a tight but exciting game in battling to a 4-4 tie. Maria Aide Rios led Rehab by scoring two goals. Zoe Brazeau and Isabella Beatty-Peters rounded out their scoring. Alexis Jenson and Talia Rivard contributed assists. Ella McCarty paced O’Reilly with two scores while Ella Brumwell and Keenyah Murray had one a piece. Morgan MacIvor and Camryn Hyde each had two assists.

On December 20, 2019, Rehab Plus tied Iroquois Falls 7-7. Ella McCarty, Maria Aide-Rios and Isabella Beatty-Peters each had big games for Rehab with two goals each. Lauren Bonsall also added a score for her team. Bonsall also had two assists. Single helpers came from Aide-Rios, Kenady Hussey, and Zoe Brazeau. Anna McBride paced Iroquois Falls with 4 goals, while George Cuddy had two. Cuddy also contributed three assists.

 

JBO Division:

On December 11, 2019, Albert’s Sports & Work Wear edged Masonic Lodge 6-4, in a high spirited game that was dominated by offensive displays on both sides. Marie-Pier Durepos-Letourneau paced Albert’s with 3 goals while Marie Bourdages-Cote chipped in with two scores. Maya Brousseau rounded out the scoring. Durepos-Letourneau and Jordyn Bartolomucci each added two assists. Madison Seguin and Karine Harvey contributed one assist a piece. Sydney Dagenais was responsible for most of Masonic’s scoring with a hat trick. Kara D’arcangelo had one goal and one assist. Caelen Easton chipped in with three assists while Rylee Kaye and Sarah Deforge each had one helper.

On December 11, 2019, Viel Auto Body defeated Cain Safety 5-2 in a game that was much closer than the score dictated. Both teams had outstanding goaltending performances (Viel’s Patricia Viel and Cain’s Christina Liposack). Erin Rumleski led Viel with a hat trick, while Emilie Viel and Jessica Boileau had one each. Gabriele Larocque had three assists while Sam Stewart, Erin Rumleski, and Jessica Boileau had one a piece. Jennifer D’Aoust responded for Cain Safety. Christine Jerk had two assists.

On December 13, 2019, Tisdale Plumbing and Heating edged Viel Auto Body 4-3. Danya Desjardin, Janelle Rivard, Caitlyn Ranger, and Alexis Clark scored for Tisdale in the win. Rivard also added two assists. Other helpers came off the sticks of Keyana Rivard, Danya Desjardin, and Chelsea Desjardin. Viel was paced by two goals from Jessica Boileau. Gabriele Larocque completed the scoring. Emilie Viel chipped in with two primary assists while Jamie Cayen had one helper.

On December 17, 2019, Tisdale Plumbing and Heating shutout Cain Safety 2-0 in a game dominated by outstanding goalie performances from Tisdale’s Emelie Robert and Cain Safety’s Christina Liposack. The game was exciting to watch from the fan’s point of view and was highlighted by two goals scored by Danya Desjardin.
